Good to Know

Mixed Fiber Bales — FAQs

What fiber lengths are in a mixed bale?

A natural blend of the husk's output, typically 5–20 cm — mixed, mattress, or OMAT grade. Bale weight can be customised between 125–150 kg.

Why choose mixed fiber over graded fiber?

Economy. If your process — insulation, rubberised coir, drainage filtration, bedding — does not demand a single grade, mixed bales deliver the same clean Sri Lankan coir at the best price per tonne.

How is quality controlled?

Every batch is checked for moisture content (kept under 18%) and colour consistency before pressing into bales.

What is a typical order size?

Full container loads — around 9–10 tonnes in a 20 ft container, or 21 tonnes in a 40 ft high cube. Mixed containers with our other fiber products are common.
