Good to Know

Bristle Fiber — FAQs

What makes bristle fiber different from mattress fiber?

Length and stiffness. Bristle fiber is the longest, stiffest fraction extracted from the husk — combed, hackled, and graded — while shorter, softer fiber goes to mattress and curled applications.

What colour and treatment options are available?

Natural, black, yellow, or red, in bleached or unbleached grades, precut to 12–18 cm or supplied uncut up to 25 cm.

Can you supply dyed or trimmed fiber?

Yes — black-dyed bristle for brush-making is a regular line, and we can cut to specific lengths or supply untrimmed hanks in 1, 2, or 3-tie bundles.

What is the minimum export order?

Typically one 20 ft container, which carries approximately 8.5–9 tonnes of packed bags. Smaller trial shipments can be consolidated with our other products.
