Coir Bristle Fibre, also known as Brush Fibre, is extracted from the thick outer layer of coconut husks, offering a natural, durable, and eco-friendly material ideal for brush-making and other industrial applications.
Known for its strength, stiffness, and resilience, coir bristle fibre is a sustainable alternative to synthetic materials, ensuring high performance and longevity in a variety of products. This 100% natural product is biodegradable and harvested from renewable sources, making it a perfect fit for environmentally conscious industries.
We export bristle in natural or dyed colour options, bleached or unbleached, precut or uncut, in 1, 2, or 3-tie bundles packed roughly 40 rolls to a 12.5 kg bag. Whether you manufacture household brooms, industrial sweepers, or specialty upholstery, we can match a grade to your line.
Why It Works
Coir bristle fibre is known for its exceptional strength and longevity, making it ideal for heavy-duty brushes and brooms.
Bristle fibers can withstand moisture without degrading, making them suitable for outdoor and wet environments.
Sourced from renewable coconut husks, coir bristle fibre is fully biodegradable and supports sustainable manufacturing.
Provides excellent stiffness for firm bristles while remaining flexible enough for effective cleaning and scrubbing tasks.
Coir fibres are easy to clean and maintain, extending the lifespan of products that use them.
Good to Know
Length and stiffness. Bristle fiber is the longest, stiffest fraction extracted from the husk — combed, hackled, and graded — while shorter, softer fiber goes to mattress and curled applications.
Natural, black, yellow, or red, in bleached or unbleached grades, precut to 12–18 cm or supplied uncut up to 25 cm.
Yes — black-dyed bristle for brush-making is a regular line, and we can cut to specific lengths or supply untrimmed hanks in 1, 2, or 3-tie bundles.
Typically one 20 ft container, which carries approximately 8.5–9 tonnes of packed bags. Smaller trial shipments can be consolidated with our other products.
